The upstairs suite was clean, cozy, and had AC. We were allowed to see two rooms and choose, and the staff kindly brought our bags up. There’s also a pool with loungers, and the hotel felt calm and comfortable. The rooms are small compared with North American hotels, though that’s normal in Europe. The bathroom had the usual combined shower and toilet setup we'd seen throughout Greece. Our two medium suitcases and carry-on backpacks made the space tight, but we loved it. From the hotel, it’s a five-minute walk to the bus station. We got to Oia for under five euros for the two of us, and shops, views, restaurants, and dessert places are close too. Right in central Fira, the staff were funny, kind, and helpful from check-in. One person gave us loads of food, shopping, and coffee recommendations, and every suggestion we tried was a hit. This stay was perfect for us, and I'd highly recommend it if room size isn't a concern.

The rooms were clean and decent. The receptionist was fantastic, explaining where to go and what to do, and giving us maps. His brother picked us up at the airport and was helpful too. I'd definitely recommend it, and thank you.

We slept quietly for both nights, with no noise or interruptions. The hotel sits on a peaceful little street, yet the location is excellent: two minutes on foot to the main street and five to the ocean. Our room was modern and cute, and they upgraded us for free. It was cleaned and fresh towels were provided every day.

We had four rooms at San Giorgio Hotel, tucked away from the busier part of Fira but still close to everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms very clean. The staff were so gracious and helpful. We loved staying here, and highly recommend it. Thank you!

Angelo at San Giorgio Villa was a lifesaver after my flight was cancelled because of the dust storm in Santorini in April 2026. It was rescheduled 35 hours later, and he rearranged my booking and sent a car when I finally landed late at night. I'm really grateful I found this little, reasonably priced place in central Fira, especially after all the bad luck getting there. For a first Santorini trip, it's a decent budget option with good connections around the island. I rented a car, but the Fira bus stop is only a five-minute walk away. Go for it.
