The Last Sunbeam

The view from our Fira hotel room over the Agean Sea and Santorini Caldera was stunning. They brought breakfast to our own terrace each morning, and the place is amazing. The Last Sunbeam Hotel is a small boutique hotel with few amenities, but it has the things that matter most. There’s a pool overlooking the Caldera, and the spacious rooms are clean, with the toiletries and towels you need, including separate towels for the pool or beach. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and the bus terminal is nearby. The receptionist gave me such good tips on where to go and eat that I felt more like a local than a tourist during my five nights at The Last Sunbeam. The staff were kind and helpful throughout, and the service was excellent. The hotel was peaceful, spotless, and had lovely views, which made it all the more relaxing. Blondie, the hotel’s cat, has been around for over 10 years and often keeps guests company nearby. Such a sweet touch, and it made the stay even more memorable.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Eneida deserves the mention. She’s a superhost who stepped in when we needed help and took care of everything. The view was amazing, the rooms were clean, and the whole compound was well looked after. It’s close to central Fira and the bus station. Absolutely lovely!

The quiet at the end of the day was just what we wanted, even though the shops and cruise stopover area were easy to reach. Our room had a stunning view, especially at sunset, and breakfast delivered to the balcony felt like a real treat. This was our favorite hotel of the whole trip through Greece.
