White Concept Caves

The staff were generally friendly, nearly all spoke English, and someone was usually available around the clock. They offered to carry bags and held our luggage. Aris was great. The location is about 20 minutes from the city, but there's no view, just a back alley. The idea is unique, though the construction and everything in the rooms felt low quality. Room quality varied a lot within the same price category, so a higher rate could get you a worse room. The pool in the photo doesn't work. Our friends' hot tub was freezing, while ours malfunctioned and got so hot it burned at 2 a.m., long after the sun had gone. Wires hung out of holes in the rooms. Breakfast had no water and few options; they served what they seemed to have rather than what we asked for. At check-in they wrote down all our personal information. When amenities were broken, staff repeatedly said it must have just happened and they'd fix it tomorrow, but nothing was resolved before we left. They were dismissive or argumentative when we asked about broken features or requested help, and wouldn't offer discounts for broken or missing amenities. I would NOT recommend it. With so many things broken or unavailable, it's hard to judge the value fairly. There are plenty of closer, better-priced, higher-quality options.

Yolanda at reception was especially lovely, and the whole team was friendly and accommodating. We came for our honeymoon and really enjoyed a relaxing stay at White Concept Caves. Our room was spacious, clean, and stylish, and the hotel is only a five-minute walk from Fira's main streets. If you arrive after midnight, call the hotel to arrange an airport pickup. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The rooms have a distinctive cave-dwelling style, and each one has its own outdoor hot tub spa. It's close to the city center and an easy walk from most tourist spots.

The outdoor hot tub, which was the suite's main draw, didn't work. There was literally no other reason for me to book this hotel. Such a disappointment.
