Vegga Suites

We stayed through Airbnb on 31 October, 2025. The apartment is central, just a short walk from the main square, so it was easy to explore the area, and surprisingly quiet. The host was lovely and incredibly responsive, helping with recommendations, bookings, and anything else we needed. The stairs could be a bit challenging with large suitcases, but we didn't mind. Highly recommended!

Vangelis, the owner, is incredible, so kind and helpful, and he really makes an effort to give you the best experience. The rooms are beautifully put together, custom made, and full of thoughtful details. I travel the world for work as an international trip leader and stay in boutique hotels, and this is one of the best stays I've had in Greece, maybe even Europe. You can't go wrong staying here.

The apartment is small, but just perfect, with high-end interiors and real luxury throughout. It's right in the center of Heraklion/Iraklio, in the pedestrian zone, so you can walk to almost all the main sights in the city center. If we're ever back in the future, we hope to stay here again. We'll probably never choose anywhere else.

The design is so thoughtfully curated that I kept taking photos. Everything comes together seamlessly, and the real materials are lovely to touch and appreciate. It's an artistically assembled space that pairs beautiful design with practical use and a high standard of construction. Our room was great and had everything we needed, and we knew we could just ask if anything came up. Vegga Suites was a fantastic place to stay, and we were so well looked after. They answered all our arty farty, architecty questions! Sometimes I see a place online and think it'll be great, but get it wrong. Not this time. Thanks so much for the trip. It's a wonderful place, and we hope to return soon.
