Arany Terra

The hotel sits right by the Fira-Oia trail, but the path runs below the rooms, so walkers don’t feel like they’re looking in. Most don’t even glance up. We liked watching people go by and having an easy morning walk nearby. Even on the trail, it stays peaceful, with shops, restaurants, and a bus to Fira within walking distance. We spent nine nights here and would highly recommend it. The sunset view is wonderful, and there’s no need to find a bar for an evening drink when you have that view right outside. Breakfast was delicious, high quality, and enormous, with veggie and vegan choices. The bed was huge and very comfortable, the pillows and towels were good quality, and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. We could have used more towel hooks and coat hangers. We asked for more hangers and got them, so that was sorted. A friendly hotel in a beautiful, relaxing spot. We’d definitely come back.

The heated pool was clean, relaxing, and private, and we loved how peaceful the place felt. It had the feel of our own hidden paradise. We also had an amazing view, one of the best we’ve seen, and the breakfast was rich and delicious, with lots of fresh local options. The reception team was always ready to help and guide us. Service was warm and attentive throughout, with every detail handled carefully. Arany Terra was a real gem, and we’d gladly return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting.

Eva and Chris went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Everything was handled quickly and professionally. We’re from Spain and spent a week vacationing in Santorini, and it was definitely one of the best weeks of our lives. The suite was luxurious and beautiful, with an incredibly comfortable bed and amazing views. I slept better than ever, haha. 1000/10. We’ll be back and recommend it to everyone. Thank you!!

We were here for two nights on our honeymoon, and breakfast delivered to the room each morning was the best hotel breakfast we had on our two-week trip. The service was great, too. Our room had a romantic, boho-chic design, and the location looked over the Caldera at Oia. It’s tucked away from the town’s bustle but still nearby. The Fira to Oia hiking trail runs behind the rooms, so close the blinds for privacy during the day. There wasn’t any foot traffic at night.
