Iconic Santorini by Sandglass

I was there in July 2025, in peak season. Iconic Santorini is undeniably photogenic, from its postcard-worthy views and striking pool to the all-white Cycladic design. If visuals are your top priority, you'll probably love it. For me, though, the stay felt built more to be admired than lived in. Service was correct but impersonal, and there wasn't much warmth or flexibility. If you want character, attentiveness, and a sense of soul, it may not suit you. Would I go back? No. I'd recommend it only to someone who mainly cares about the view.

John even carried my overstuffed bags up all those stairs for my 6am flight. The views were incredible, the bed felt like heaven, and the staff helped us every step of the way. We had such a lovely time. Thank you!!!

For our honeymoon, my husband and I stayed at Iconic and loved every second. Our room was probably the prettiest hotel room I've ever stayed in, and it was spotless. The cleaning crew mopped every day and made sure we had fresh towels. It was also well stocked with wonderful bathroom products. We arrived without any plans or bookings, but the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They arranged dinner reservations each night, a boat day, and transfers wherever we wanted to go. The hotel feels quiet and private compared with other parts of the island, while still being close to nightlife and restaurants, so the location was perfect for a honeymoon. We also had one of the best massages I've ever received at the spa. Breakfast was better than any we ate elsewhere on the island, with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. I'd recommend staying here to anyone and hope to return someday. Thank you to the staff for making it so special.

The hotel felt like a hidden gem, with lovely views, attentive staff, and delicious breakfast. I especially liked the location between Fira and Oia, which was less crowded. Our room was spacious and clean, with a private deck looking out at those special views.
