Luna Rossa

Fred, Eleni, and the staff were the reason our stay turned out even better than we’d hoped. Their tips on places to eat, sights, getting around, and boat trips were gold. The pool, jacuzzi, and rooms were all spotless. You can catch the sunrise from one side and the sunset from the other. Most hotels and apartments in Santorini are great, but the people running them are what make the difference.

Breakfast comes to your room every morning, a whole table of delicious treats, so there’s plenty to eat whatever you like. Don’t miss it. The rooms are beautiful, and the views are wonderful too: you can see the caldera from your window and the pool, then watch the sunset from the roof. Kostas and Fred made sure we had a great time. They know a lot about the island’s history, and their suggestions were the best. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and will recommend it to anyone I know visiting Santorini.

The staff took care of all the little travel details, including arranging a rental car to be delivered and picked up at the hotel when we wanted to explore on our own. Their excursions and restaurant suggestions were incredible, even the pricier options felt worth it. I especially recommend the sunset boat excursion. Having someone trustworthy to help while traveling in an unfamiliar country meant a lot. Fred often says, “when you are here, you are home,” and Luna Rossa really did feel that way, with its beautiful views, infinity pool, and helpful staff. We also recommend having breakfast by the pool at least once. If it’s available, the deluxe apartment with a 360 view of the island is worth it. Getting around the island from the hotel wasn’t a problem at any time. I’d read comments about traffic noise, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. If you’re very sensitive to noise, the coastline is where most of the traffic is. We loved our stay in Santorini, and Luna Rossa was a big part of that.

Manos picked us up at the ferry and pointed out parts of the island as we drove to Luna Rossa. When we arrived, Kostas welcomed us and shared his extensive knowledge of Santorini and its history. Both he and Fred made us feel at home and did everything they could to make our trip special. They arranged restaurant bookings, a car rental, beach suggestions, and food deliveries, and were always there if we needed to call. We were looked after from the moment we arrived, and our time in Santorini was more memorable because of them. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
