From the first moment, the staff made us feel welcome and looked after us so well. Everyone was consistently kind, attentive, and professional. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The setting is peaceful and luxurious, with breathtaking views. We’re sincerely grateful for the wonderful hospitality and unforgettable stay.

The shower drain didn’t work from the moment we checked in, and water flooded both the bathroom and the hallway. We told reception right away, but maintenance couldn’t come that day and was meant to arrive first thing the next morning. No one offered another room, so my husband and our 10-month-old went without showers. Around 10 the next day, I checked with reception and learned they were waiting for us to leave before going in. Nobody had told us we needed to leave the room earlier. When we returned from the pool after being out all day, the drain still hadn’t been fixed. Water spread through the room again, and we had to soak it up with our own clean towels so we wouldn’t slip. Again, nobody told us maintenance couldn’t fix it, and we weren’t offered another room. The shower itself was filthy, the showerhead was held on with a zip tie, and silicone was missing from the door frame. At checkout, they said we should have reported the problem, even though we’d done so within two hours of arrival. This was by far the worst accommodation and reception service we’ve experienced. The online room photos, especially the bathroom, are extremely misleading, and for a “5 star” hotel the service fell short from check-in: we were given vague directions instead of being shown to our room. This place deserves 2-3 stars at most. The room and service were horrendous. Be careful booking here. I’ll never stay again. I’m sure they’ll only pull down this review to protect their reputation, and if that happens, I’ll post it again so others know.

The bay view is amazing, and the location is great. Kalamata is just a 15-20 minute drive away.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is clean and gorgeous. We liked it enough to extend our stay by another day. We often used the spa sauna and steam room, which cost an extra $10. Breakfast was amazing, and the restaurant was very good too, serving modern Greek cuisine. It’s around a 10-minute drive toward central Kalamata. We can’t wait to come back!
