This place is a real gem. The pool looks out over the ocean, and the clean, cute rooms come with a nice breakfast. You're a short walk from the Black sand beach, with a 20-30 minute transfer to Fira and oia. It's family-owned, and their hospitality really showed. Nicholas was a joy and helped a lot with arranging rides and pulling reservation strings. I'd book it for a future stay.

The Gem Suite had a private terrace and hot tub, and the spacious room was spotless. The beds were especially comfortable, and breakfast was fresh each morning. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning architecture and lovely plants in the gardens. The owners welcomed us with drinks and were so friendly. We also booked a massage through the hotel. They came to the room, and it was amazing. Highly recommend.

Lots of hotels are great, but not many have soul. At Aegean Gem, my family and I felt right at home, with daily spotless room cleaning, comfortable beds and a good, filling breakfast. Nikolas and his whole family made the difference. Their tips, including car rental and restaurant recommendations, were all five-star. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay on this beautiful island.

It's Maria and Nicolas who made our stay so special. Their hard work, kindness and friendliness feel like a genuine reflection of their family, and we may have to come back because it'll be hard to find hosts as good. Sarah misses her Greek lessons with Yiayia, and I miss my 5 o'clock Mamos. We left on Saturday and haven't stopped talking about Aegean Gem since. The breakfasts were excellent, with lots of high-quality choices. We spent plenty of time relaxing on the upstairs terrace, then heading downstairs for cake and coffee. The scales at home will confirm I enjoyed breakfast, oops. The hotel is close to Kamari's restaurants but tucked away in a peaceful spot. The large rooms were modern, thoughtfully planned, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Thank you for looking after us. We had a great stay. Tim & Sarah

Nickolas was always so friendly and helpful. He found us a car rental deal much cheaper than the prices we'd seen online and even made sure we didn't miss our airport transfer. The whole hotel was kept very clean. We loved the pool and the hot tub in our room, and breakfast was lovely and refreshing. After checkout, we could go to the nearby beach and still return to use the shower and toilets downstairs. One of the best hotels I've stayed in. I hope I can come back soon.
