Hotel Narkissos

The amenities are basic, but very good for the price, and the location near the beach and restaurants is superb. Everyone at Narkissos Hotel was helpful, accommodating, and friendly, especially Lefteri. They suggested things to do on the island and where to park, warmed up our leftovers, and helped carry our luggage. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it!

The room had three beds for us to share. Two were okay, but one of us had to use an uncomfortable fold-out bed. The balcony was very small and had no view. Still, the hotel and staff were good and it felt worth the money. The location is close to the beach and shops, and reception was very nice, helpful, and accommodating. If you’re visiting Santorini for the beach, I’d recommend staying on the Kamari side and taking the bus to Fira and Oia.

The location is superb, and although there were only a few staff, they were amazing, approachable, and accommodating. Breakfast was fairly basic but tasty. Our room was spacious, but the bathroom was tiny. There was air conditioning, though we couldn’t set the temperature. There’s no sound insulation, so people in the hallway and doors closing were very loud.

The host made us feel comfortable straight away, even though our flight arrived around midnight and we were unsure what check-in would be like. He asked us to call when we arrived and was waiting at 2am. He patiently showed us the facilities and breakfast choices, then shared information about the island, bus times, nearby supermarkets, and food options. Our first day on the island was wonderful. The room was clean, well maintained, and really good, with a balcony. I found the bathroom a bit cramped, but everything else was good, especially the location. The black sand beach is very close, about a five-minute walk.
