The house was clean and spacious, with a nice garden, and the breakfasts we did get were decent. Fira is about a 15-minute walk away, and you pass golden grill, which has the best gyros in town. There’s also a bus stop two minutes from the villa. The rooms are pretty noisy, though, you can literally hear the neighbors. We were disappointed by the jacuzzi. We’d called Julia before booking to ask if it would be hot, but it only reached 30 degrees, which was too chilly for us in the evening. We were out exploring during the day, so didn’t use it. It’s inflatable, by the way. Breakfast was also late on our second morning. We’d agreed with Julia on WhatsApp to have it at 8:00, but by 8:45 it still hadn’t arrived, and we’d booked a tour around that time. The first day we’d asked for 9:00, but she blamed us for changing the time. Instead of finding a solution, like refunding the breakfast we missed, she insulted us several times over WhatsApp. With no reception, texting Julia was the only way to sort anything out. Location is okayish.

A lovely little apartment with a balcony and hot tub. Check-in was confusing because we arrived late and nobody was there, so we had to call the number on our booking to get into the room. There’s no pool or place to sunbathe, so if that’s what you want, book a hotel.

The host was easy to communicate with and the service was excellent. I stayed three nights with my sister and her partner, and we all loved the place and breakfast. It had a very modern look, quality furniture, and a really comfortable sofa bed to relax on.

The staff were friendly and so helpful, and breakfast was awesome. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Fantastic rooms and amazing service, just right for a dream holiday. I’d definitely recommend it.
