Irini-Studio 1

We stayed as two couples and had enough privacy in the spacious studios. They were clean, in a great location, and had a lovely sea view. Everything worked as expected. The hosts were very friendly and recommended great places to visit. We'll come back!

George is awesome, probably the friendliest host I've had across all my Airbnb stays. The prices are very reasonable, and the place is right on the water. It's nearly always booked, and I can see why. I love it here and wholeheartedly recommend it!

We stayed at irini apartments in Sept 2016. The rooms were nice, the garden was lovely, and the location was good, but the sea and beach were a huge disappointment. In 2016, the whole east coast of corfu was covered in tons of sea grass, 10-20cm deep, so you couldn't see the sand and there wasn't really a beach. I later understood that currents can carry the grass to the eastern coast, so it could happen again. We have a son who wanted to play in the sand, but there was none. The owner used nice, older pictures in the ads from before the sea grass appeared, and when we spoke to him on the phone to confirm, he didn't mention it. When we arrived, we were also told our paid room type was occupied, so we'd have to stay in another room for 2-3 nights, then move once ours was free. That was too much. We stayed only three nights before moving to a place on the western coast, where there was no sea grass. Check the latest property photos, since things may have changed since they were first advertised.

Irini is about half a mile down the road from Kavos, far enough from its all-night 18-20 partying to keep this place peaceful. There's a small mini market nearby for essentials, and the green bus stops close by for trips to Corfu and beyond. George and Irini were delightful hosts and did everything they could to welcome us and make the stay enjoyable. We couldn't have found a better spot for quiet relaxation and swimming, and we were really sad to leave.
