I’m a 76-year-old woman traveling alone, and the owner yelled at me and called me all sorts of horrible names because I wouldn't agree to his terms for defrauding booking.com. He even kicked my suitcase. His behavior was totally abhorrent.

He first said we could leave our baggage at the hotel until we departed the island, then changed his mind and told us to take our things away. When I said I would put everything in my review, he replied, “yes please do that, I am expecting it. But you know what? I do not need any customers.” He was unprofessional, arrogant and rude. The owner was demanding cash. We had no issue paying in cash, but for transparency I wanted to cross-check it with Booking. We were all extremely polite, but he couldn't stay calm and polite for some reason. Somehow he decided we weren't going to pay cash and became insulting. So please don’t make any reservations if they don't need customers. Booking will also start an investigation into this property. For your information, in Greece every transaction above 500€ has to be made digitally, by bank transfer, POS, etc. The POS is mandatory in Greece too. “Cash” in Greece is a magic word, especially for amounts over 1000€, as in our case.

We enjoyed staying here. The terraces were great, and the location puts you right on the main street. The rooms were super clean, with daily cleaning and fresh sheets on the second day.

There was only a fridge in the room, which wasn't a studio or apartment. To boil a kettle, you had to unplug the fridge. We got an adaptor on the second day. Dimitris, the manager/owner, is an aggressive little man with foul language. At 8 a.m. he threatened to call the police because he wanted cash instead of a card. He shouted abuse all the way down the road as my family and I left. Since then, he's phoned me and been abusive while I'm on my next island. I'd think twice about staying here.
