We had the villa at the far end, with the most privacy and a great view off to the side. It’s a modern, luxurious place with a nice landscape view and friendly service. One thing to be aware of: even slight movement in the pool made water spill over onto the terrace. It didn’t bother us.

The villa was spacious and cleaned immaculately, and we enjoyed the private pool and the short walk to old chersonissos. But some of the details didn’t live up to the luxury appearance Cocoon gives at first glance. After the second day, the door handle broke. We had to use a trick with the key to get out, and although we called Anna right away, it still hadn’t been fixed when we left a week later. The mattresses were sagging and due for replacement, as were the pans with ripped Teflon. We also got old, torn towels at one point, and the much-needed parasol was worn out. We did enjoy our stay, but the hospitality could have been much better for a luxury villa.

The villa was clean, well equipped, and serviced every day. Fresh pool, bath, and kitchen tea towels were provided, along with daily refills of coffee and dishwasher tablets. Cocoon Luxury Villas has four individual villas in peaceful surroundings, a little piece of paradise. Thanks to Anna and the team for a wonderful stay. We’ll be back.

The villas are amazing, and the team were friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. The daily cleaning and restocking were thoughtful little touches that we appreciated.

We were very disappointed. There was a strike by the port workers in Bayonne, and the sky was closed. Even though this was beyond our control, the landlady refused to refund our money. She said she’d get back to us with an answer, but instead blocked us after collecting all the money.
