Lindos Bay Suites

The main restaurant had lots of choices, and we enjoyed most of our meals there, though service was inconsistent. At some meals nobody even asked our room number or whether we wanted drinks, while at other times the staff were great. It got very busy at peak times, so it’s best to avoid the rush unless you fancy a bit of an arm wrestle with a stranger. The snacks between lunch and dinner were pretty dire too. The chips and pizza looked as if they’d been sitting out for a week and didn’t taste good, so after that we made sure not to miss lunch. We’re nearing the end of a very special week at the Tui Blue, full of lovely memories. The Executive Suites are beautiful and worth the extra cost. Our highlight was the floating breakfast we booked to celebrate our engagement, which was perfect. We also loved being able to call for a golf buggy ride to the main hotel at any time of day or night. It made the distance between the hotel and suites no issue. We loved the Greek menu at Zephyros, included for one evening, and had an incredible à la carte meal at the Culinarium, also included. We’d have paid to eat there again if we’d had more time. There were a few things we brought up during the week, and how they were handled depended a lot on who we spoke to. Often nothing happened. Luckily, management at the sister hotel, Lindos white hotel, went out of their way to make sure we were happy for the rest of the holiday. We met them by chance, and I wish it had happened sooner. Their willingness to help is why I feel our stay deserves five stars. It was disappointing not to have an iron or laundry service, especially with evening dresses and shirts packed for an overseas trip, but nothing life threatening!

The buffet was brilliant, with so much choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’d give it 10/10, and the sushi dinner was a wonderful extra. The other restaurants on site were lovely too, and the spa was spacious with a wide range of relaxing massages. The hotel is old but renovated, so the facilities were fantastic. The entertainment nights were fun, and it felt like management had put a lot of thought into everything. Several staff members stood out: Niko, the beach bar manager, Maria in restaurant service, and Stergios, the manager who made sure everything was perfect. Thank you all.

It was an easy place to relax and enjoy a quiet stay. Our room was comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly, and we’d definitely come back.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and we couldn’t fault the hotel. Our room was comfortable, with a big balcony, and breakfast had plenty of variety. There’s a handy mini mart on site, too. The beautiful pool leads straight to the beach, and the sunrise was breathtaking. We were a married couple in our 30s.
