We stayed at this hotel in September 2025. The rooms were spacious, the food decent, drinks reasonably priced, and the staff nice and helpful. My husband, son and I were on our first holiday in Kreta with aurinkomatka. Before flying home to Finland, we bought postcards for friends and relatives there. An older woman at reception said she'd mail them for us. It's nearly November and none have arrived. I don't know what to make of it, but a postcard within Europe shouldn't take over a month.

We had a great stay and are already looking forward to coming back. The hotel has good rooms, friendly service, different activities and several swimming pools by the sea.

We stopped by for just an afternoon in late June 2025 because the sea was too rough. The bar staff were super friendly, and the lager was served well. There were lots of sunbeds, and the restaurant gave us a generous portion of fries for €4.20. The long pool was lovely for a swim around 5:45 PM, after the paddlers had gone back to their rooms. I'd return.

We had a sunny balcony with an open sea view, and the room was cleaned every day. The pool was fantastic for swimming, diving or just playing. On windy, cold days, the indoor pool was a real bonus. The beach is small but very close, and swimming there on a calm day was incredible. Just remember beach shoes for getting in and out of the water. The area is quiet, and the food was good. Breakfast was very “Finnish”, though we're the ones who booked a package holiday, so no complaint there. Some staff were really friendly, and Marco and Fabio were a great addition to the service. We could have used more information about local culture and customs, especially as I work in tourism. A local bar owner filled us in instead. The beach wasn't well maintained. Pebbles don't bother me, but after strong winds and big waves I wished someone would clear away the plastic bottles and tires. We picked up what we could. The “blond Poseidons” shouting Finnish words weren't our thing, though everyone has their own taste. All in all, we had a great holiday break. Thank you.

The staff are the best! The rooms are good, and the VIP rooms are perfect, with direct access to the pool. There are good bus connections to Chania.
