Palladium Hotel

We had a pleasant 10-day stay and truly enjoyed each day on the island. The property was relaxing and welcoming, though a few details could have been better. After a while, breakfast and dinner started to feel repetitive, and we lost our appetite for the same dishes. More variety would have helped. On our first evening, we arrived tired at 9:40 pm after a 10-hour journey, only to learn dinner had ended at 9:30. There was nothing to eat except two slices of low-quality cold cuts and four breadsticks left in our room. The fruit basket and wine listed in the booking details were missing, so we had to eat at a nearby restaurant, which wasn’t what we’d hoped for. The wine was eventually brought up after we mentioned it, but left on a shelf. We got back late and found it warm, with no ice or refrigeration, so we couldn’t enjoy it. Little things like that matter. During all 10 days, nobody from reception or the restaurant asked how our stay was going or if we were enjoying ourselves. The only thing the wait staff asked when coming to clear our plates was, “Finish?” Even so, we did have a very pleasant stay overall.

We’ve just come home from a lovely week here. It’s a good choice if you want a really relaxed break. The hotel was beautiful, fresh flowers were everywhere, and the whole place was clean and well maintained. Our modern room was thoroughly cleaned every day. A big thank you to all the staff for looking after us so well. The bar team, including bartenders and waiters and waitresses, went out of their way to chat during the day and evening and made the visit enjoyable. There isn’t much to do right near the hotel, but the bus stop is a two-minute walk away if you want to get out and about.

We stayed for a week and wished it had been two. The food was amazing. We’d only booked breakfast, but ate dinner at the hotel twice and loved it. The staff were lovely, friendly, and accommodating. Special thanks to Andreas at the pool bar for great suggestions of places to see on our drive around the island. The location is beautiful, with gorgeous beaches and lovely walks to villages, beaches, and bars. Our original standard room was dated and hadn’t been cleaned to the expected standard, but the hotel dealt with it quickly and the customer service was amazing. I couldn’t recommend it more. Thanks, we’ll be back!

I’m here at the Palladium hotel on my own and can’t fault anything. My deluxe room is beautiful, and I can assure you I usually find fault with most rooms, but not this one. The staff are lovely and friendly, and the woman who comes in to clean keeps my room immaculate every day. The pools and gardens are beautifully maintained too. If you want a relaxing break away from everything, this is the place. I’ll book again next year.
