We felt we were in the best possible hands with Julia. She welcomed us so warmly, answered every request, and did all she could to make us happy. The room and terrace were amazing, and it was excellent value for money. We got more than we could have hoped for, including fresh sheets without even asking after we spilled a little coffee. Poli Efcharisto, and sorry about the spill! ❤️❤️❤️

Julia’s kindness made our holiday especially memorable. She was warm and generous from the moment we arrived, and even upgraded us to a deluxe room at no extra charge. She also gave us useful tips on places to visit and eat, and how to get around by local bus. As a lovely extra, she invited us to a sister hotel in Fira, where we enjoyed the caldera views and complimentary refreshments. Hotel Eucalyptus is a clean, welcoming base for exploring the area. Bus stops and several supermarkets are close by, including Sklavenitis, which had particularly good value. There are also several affordable restaurants within walking distance. We had a very pleasant stay and recommend the hotel for its location, value, and friendly service.

Giulia made such a difference to my stay. She helped with everything and gave me honest advice about what was worth doing based on what I enjoy. I asked a lot of questions, and she was so knowledgeable and helpful that the place felt like home. The service went above and beyond what I paid for, and I can’t imagine a five-star hotel doing more. I recommend it 100000%. The location is great, about seven minutes from Fira square. From there, you can hike to Oia, around 10 km, or take the shorter walk to Imerovigli, a little over 2 km. In summer, it’s best to go after 4 or 5 pm. You can plan a sunset dinner in Fira too, but book ahead because it gets crowded. That helps leave time for other things. Ty Giulia, you are the best.

Giulia was such a kind and helpful host, and I loved talking with her. She knows the island and nearby activities well, and can tell you about boating options. The hotel itself looks like a dream, with a modern room and only a few rooms in the whole property, so you hardly notice other guests. I was upgraded to a room with a balcony and would happily stay again. The location is convenient, with a bakery in front and a market, cafes, and shops nearby. The airport bus stop and the shuttle bus to Fira are both less than a minute away on foot. Kamari and Fira are each about a 15-minute bus ride. Definitely recommend.

The room was a pleasure to spend time in, with a very comfortable bed, refrigerator, and air conditioning. I stayed on the first floor. The hotel has been renovated since the outdated Google Maps photos, and the modern Scandinavian look with a little boho style is comfortable. Everything was clean, and the cleaning lady was polite and cheerful. The staff were attentive, friendly, and honest, and easy to trust. For this price, it’s a very good option for a budget traveler. There are a few things to know. The tiled floor gets very cold, so bring slippers or warm socks. You can hear the neighbors quite clearly. For the first two days, there was a strong chemical smell around the cupboard, which I think came from cleaning products that hadn’t aired out. Breakfast was disappointing, too simple, with lots of bread and sweets, so I’d rather eat nearby. Pollo close by has good, inexpensive pita and shawarma. The location is handy, with a large grocery store very close and buses in several directions, including north, south, west, and the airport. The buses are cheap but often don’t follow the schedule, especially the ones to Kamari. Despite those minor drawbacks, the design, service, price, and cleanliness made me warmly recommend the place.
