The sunset view here is pure magic, with catamarans gliding across the water, and the cocktails at Elements were especially distinctive and memorable. The hotel also made getting around easy, with a complimentary driver to Oia and a friendly front desk team that answered quickly on WhatsApp. The staff, drivers, and views were all incredible. Honestly, I can’t think of a better hotel stay I’ve had. So many small details felt carefully thought through, and the service was wonderful. This is somewhere I’d happily return to every year. If you want an unforgettable stay in Santorini, this place delivers.

As a Greek, I’m really proud to see this local, family-run brand setting such a high bar for luxury hospitality. The Chaidemenos family have built something special at Canaves, and Vasilis and Thanassis clearly set a strong standard. Everyone, from housekeeping and chauffeurs to the leadership team, greeted us with a real smile and seemed proud to work for the brand. Anastasia was delightful, and the front desk team was quick and alert to what we needed. The 24-hour WhatsApp concierge was incredibly responsive. They paid close attention to our preferences, right down to preparing a special à la carte dish. The people made the experience exceptional from beginning to end. And the place itself is BEAUTIFUL!!! Bravo to the whole Canaves team!

For my birthday, we stayed at one of the best hotels we’ve visited, and we travel a lot. Our private pool came with spectacular views, and breakfast had a wonderful range of choices. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help at any hour. The town is chaotic and about a five-minute drive away, so the quieter setting suited us perfectly. The hotel’s shuttle was useful too. We’d definitely stay again.

I’ve spent thousands of nights in hotels, and this is my favorite stay so far. From the warm welcome and personal tour onward, everyone was friendly and made us feel looked after. The pools and facilities were spotless, and the little candies left each night were a treat. We’re now visiting other SLH properties after leaving Santorini, and their service and attitude don’t come close. I still can’t stop thinking about the breakfast. If getting here from the United States weren’t so hard, we’d come more often.
