La Madeleine Oia

They hosted us really well. The room was amazing, and breakfast delivery was fantastic. A lot of the switches inside the room aren't connected to anything, so don't worry if one doesn't do anything. The pool and stair lights didn't work for the first few days, but I flipped a few switches in the outside hallways and got them to turn on.

It's a lovely place with nice rooms in a quieter part of Oia, but Room 7 had a very thin shared wall beside the neighbours' toilet. We could hear hacking, spitting, peeing, and all sorts of other sounds. It feels like poor construction, and I'm not sure what the owner can do about it, but it was pretty gross. The outside seating area is also right by the bathroom window. The TV service request didn't work either. Otherwise it wasn't a bad place, just not as good as it could be.

The central location made it easy to wander around Oia's shops, restaurants, and scenic spots, while the hotel itself stayed tranquil despite being close to the busy center. My stay at La Madeleine was especially memorable for the hospitality from Rudina and Ismail. They were attentive and dedicated throughout. The suite was spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully designed, with traditional Cycladic architecture alongside modern amenities. From the private terrace I could see the iconic blue domes. There was also a private lawn and balcony, giving me a quiet place to relax, plus a private jacuzzi on the balcony. Thanks to Rudina and Ismail, the lovely views, and the comfortable amenities, this was a wonderful stay. I highly recommend La Madeleine to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Santorini.

Two nights didn't feel like enough. I loved the hotel and the customer service. It's beautifully built, modern, and equipped with what you need, including a coffee bar, fridge, breakfast, and cocktail jacuzzi. The rooftop view of the caldera church was incredible, and the jacuzzi was big enough for 4 ppl. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Shops and restaurants are nearby, as is amoudi bay. Roudina and Ishmaile took great care of my family. They made a big difference with little things, like extending checkout time when availability permits and arranging help to carry the luggage to the nearest pickup point. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel for this family trip.
