The Arches

It felt like home, not just somewhere to sleep, and we’re leaving with full hearts. Our host was kind, thoughtful, and generous from the moment we arrived, even helping us carry luggage up the stairs, which is no small task in Santorini. They arranged our transfer seamlessly with one quick message, giving us peace of mind and saving a lot of stress. Thank you for going above and beyond.

The rooftop hot tub made our stay unforgettable. We watched the famous Oia sunsets from our private terrace, with truly wonderful views. The Arches is only steps from Oia’s main walking street and a short stroll from the bus stop, so it was easy to explore the rest of the island. Kostas was an excellent host who anticipated what we needed and gave thoughtful recommendations that made the trip even more memorable. We’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini.

John, the manager, was very helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to eat, and he arranged rides from the ferry and to the airport. We spent one night and two days at The Arches. Its location is right in the middle of the city, though the hotel itself isn’t the best I’ve stayed in. We barely used the room beyond sleeping and showering. Breakfast was delivered to the room. It was okay, and since it was included, no complaints. Our private rooftop hot tub wasn’t very hot, unfortunately, but we still used it.

We had a delicious, top-notch breakfast, and John was a super friendly and helpful host who suggested nearby restaurants for good food. The hotel is cosy, with all the necessities, and right in the heart of town. Everything is reachable on foot, with nice restaurants nearby. I’d definitely come back.
