We’ve been coming here every day for three weeks. Glaros is a wonderful place, with a unique view straight out to the sea and windsurfers in the bay. The menu is excellent, from beetroot salad with figs and Manouri cheese to meatballs and pancakes. Maria is a brilliant cook.

We especially liked being able to stay in a self-catering apartment and still pop over to the beach bar for great coffee and good food. The staff there were friendly, and the cleaning was thorough and pleasant. The whole property is well looked after, with welcoming people throughout. Our front-row apartment had everything for a relaxing holiday: lots of space, tasteful decor, a comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen for breakfast or a simple meal, and a terrace with a sea view.

Glaros apartments sit right by the sea, and our two-room apartment was spacious and comfortable, with tasteful colours and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. The snack bar staff were very friendly too. A lovely place to relax, and somewhere I’d happily return to. Pure Crete!
