Mario was very helpful, and that’s why I’m giving two stars. The place looks can be deceiving, and I just didn’t feel comfortable there. The owner seemed tipsy most of the day, walking around in tracksuit pants with no top on and a cigarette hanging from his mouth. The towels were hard, and the bed blankets had stains and faded marks. Breakfast was the same every day. If I see another piece of cheap sliced ham and cheese, I think I’ll be ill.

The view was nice, and the hotel was decent, but there were a few problems. The washroom light didn’t work, and the water from the basin was very salty. I know it’s a beach destination, but they should do some kind of filtering. The manager was friendly enough and helped us catch our ferry on time. 🤗

The views of the mountains behind Perissa are beautiful, and there were some very friendly cats on site. It’s basic accommodation, but comfortable and nicely presented from the outside. With only around 20 rooms, it never felt crowded or impersonal.

It was a welcoming, clean, relaxing place, and nothing we asked for was too much trouble. Marios, along with his staff natalie & nina, were really helpful and joined in the fun. Marios can certainly take a joke. They made our holiday very enjoyable. We’d recommend it and hope to visit again.
