Joy Beach Hotel

Our superior studio was spacious, with a kitchenette, an indoor dining table, a sofa, and a large private balcony. The pool is nice and available whenever you want, and the black beach is only a minute away. Areti at reception was friendly and helpful throughout. We also brought our dog, and the staff kindly arranged to clean the room only when we were out with it. We were really pleased and would definitely stay at the Joy beach again.

The pool was so clean that even the cats drank from it. The rooms are huge, the place is clean and has a healthy environment, and even the bathrooms have shower hangers. Maria, the housekeeper, was incredibly fast, making our room spotless every day while we had breakfast. Breakfast itself was perfect, and the staff were so polite. I don’t know how to describe the experience, I’ve never stayed in a Greek hotel this perfect. To me, it’s a five-star beach hotel. Come and see for yourself, but know that high season starts on 1 July. After that, expect crowds everywhere, at the beach bar, by the pool, and all around. It’s one of the best Greek hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

The location is hard to beat. It’s a small boutique hotel less than two minutes from the beach, yet far enough away for quiet nights. You can lounge by the pool or walk to the beach and eat at one of the many nearby restaurants. Areti at reception helped us feel at ease and suggested trips and sights to visit. The hotel pickup and drop-off went smoothly. We only wish we’d stayed a few more days. Highly recommend it.

Spacious rooms with handy kitchenettes were cleaned every day, and we got fresh towels daily too. The staff were helpful and nice, which made the stay a real pleasure. It’s in a great spot by the beach, bars, and restaurants, but it stays quiet without the resort bustle. I’d recommend it to solo travelers, couples, and families.
