Antoperla Luxury Hotel & Spa

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff went out of their way to help us. Each morning we had a great brew, and they gave us dinner recommendations every evening. It was too cold to use the private pool, though I'm sure it's lovely in summer. We enjoyed walking along the beach road and taking in the view. Highly recommend!

The hotel looked lovely inside, quite expensive, with a white-and-blue-pool look that suited Santorini. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and I felt safe the whole time. We got checked in an hour early without any trouble. The room was clean and welcoming, with the basics, a comfy bed, and a great balcony view. The key had a huge weight attached, so you had to lug that around, lol. The location was great, with the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants all an easy walk away. The mountains behind the hotel were amazing. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating. They got us discounts at a couple of places and called taxis for us a few times. Checkout was quick and easy, and the staff made it smooth. Breakfast was included, with a different buffet selection each day. The food wasn't the best, but there were options I could eat. Most of it was cold, maybe the warmers weren't working? The juices were much too concentrated, and I needed almost two full glasses of water to dilute one cup. It would've been nice if the hotel were all-inclusive, and there was no gym on the property.

The area had a really relaxed feel, and the people were cool. I was worried it might be all egos and posing, but the hotel had the same laid-back vibe. It was a short walk to the beach, where there are some great restaurants. The hotel booked a couple of excursions for us, and the wine tour was especially good. We got lots of useful recommendations from the lovely staff, and breakfast had a really good selection. It wasn't cheap, but we got a lovely room and a little pool, which was a godsend in the heat. Great hotel, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The rooms were clean and the hotel was generally nice, and breakfast was good. The private pool that came with our room was freezing, though. We're from England and used to the cold, but it was still impossible to enjoy. We got in once for about three minutes and that was enough. Overall it was a good hotel, but don't spend extra for a room with a pool.
