Daylight

The rooms were clean, the views were great, and the pool was nice and cold when we wanted to cool off. It’s also just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and lots of good places to eat. We stayed six nights and had an amazing time. The staff were super friendly and helpful. If you want to avoid the big crowds, this is a great place to stay. We had a truly amazing experience.

This is simple, really clean accommodation with a bed, mini fridge, coffee, and beach towels. The pool was spotless too, and Perissa black sand beach is within walking distance. They don’t serve breakfast, but there are loads of food options less than a five-minute walk away. It’s owned and run by a local family. Their Dad built the hotel, and the three siblings work around the clock to keep it up and make guests comfortable. We had a late flight, so it was great to use the pool, outdoor shower, and bathroom while they held our luggage. They also arranged our taxi to the airport, which was a perfect end to the trip.

The quiet setting made it easy to relax, and the pool was really lovely. The rooms were pretty and clean, and the hosts were exceptional. They shared useful information on restaurants, tours, and transport. We’d happily return to Daylight Hotel if we come back to Santorini. We first spotted the hotel in a travel blog video on YouTube and liked it right away. We even got the same room. It’s near the black beach, several restaurants, a supermarket, and Santa Irini Bakery, known for its delicious freshly baked goods. Some nearby restaurants have their own private beach. Scooter, ATV, and car rentals are close too, handy if you want to see more of the island. It was the perfect place for us.

They arranged everything for us, including taxis, outings, and dining suggestions. When my friend got sick, they brought us homemade Greek remedies, and they worked! The hospitality really lived up to what I’d read in the reviews. The black beach and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms were clean and nice, and the pool was amazing. The place surpassed our expectations.
