We spent a week at Hotel Marianna and honestly couldn’t find anything disappointing about the holiday. The staff were fantastic and clearly love looking after guests. Traveling with our young child was easy too, since the hotel arranged airport transfers both ways and included a child safety seat. The wider Perissa community was so welcoming, and this is one of the best holidays we’ve had. 10/10, highly recommend. The pool was a great place to unwind, with the mountain behind the area making a stunning view. The hotel was very clean and had an authentic Greek feel. It’s among the best places to stay in southern Santorini. We were also impressed by the beautiful swimming pool and the hotel’s friendly, passionate staff.

I couldn’t stop looking at the incredible view from our balcony, haha. The hotel is in a great spot, close to the beach and a bus stop. Our room was serviced daily, the staff were friendly, and we felt really welcome. Breakfast was okay too. Thanks for a lovely stay!

It was nice and quiet staying just outside the centre of Perissa, while the beach and first bars and restaurants were only a five-minute walk downhill. The resort has lots of places to eat and drink but still feels calm. Fira, Oia, and several lovely smaller villages are easy to visit from here. Our only small gripe was having limited self-catering facilities and a small fridge in the room. That was my fault for not reading the description carefully enough, since everything else was perfect. The two rooms looked over the pool and sea, and were kept spotless throughout. They were well proportioned, and the staff were lovely from the moment we arrived until we left. The pool and bar were well maintained and nicely sized. There were always sunbeds available, whatever time of day, so no need to reserve one with a towel. The barman was so kind and helpful, always up for a chat or offering advice. The bar was really well run. We’d love to come back one day, so don’t hesitate to book!

The room was clean, though there wasn’t much space for clothes, and the location was lovely. Everyone on staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was limited in choice but nicely prepared and cooked. There was no Ouzo at the bar, and it was noisy past midnight on the first night. The lunch menu was poor, with a €25 minimum spend.

There was loud music playing all day, with no way to get away from it. It was party music from free Spotify, and I came in the off-season hoping for a calmer, less crowded island. That just wasn’t possible at this hotel. If you want peace and quiet, stay somewhere else.
