The place was spotless and felt worth the price for that reason. George, the owner, was very nice and helpful. You can see the sea from the patio, and the mountain with Ancient Thira on top is nearby. The downsides were the unreliable wi-fi, which kept cutting in and out, and the lack of a shower cabin. Rooms facing the rock get little or no sunlight. The beach nearest to Onar Rooms is private, while the prettiest public sandy beach is a 12-minute walk away. I’d say it’s worth staying for a night or two, depending on how much you care about sunbathing. You could choose a first-floor room, but I’d avoid the ground floor.

We loved staying here and would happily come back. The terrace looked out toward the mountains and was a lovely place for breakfast. Perissa felt much calmer than Fira and Oia, with a beautiful beach nearby and plenty of ways to get around the island. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and George had lots of useful tips about what to see and do.

The owners were welcoming and really helpful with people. We had a great time here, with a lovely sea view and the island's biggest mountain visible from our room. It had that Greek climate we came for, and the room was cleaned every day, better than at plenty of hotels we've stayed in.

We took photos of the impressive rocky mountain right beside the hotel. The location was lovely, and the service was the best. It's even nicer that this is a small business. We would give it ten stars if we could!

Thank you to the ONER team for a stay with service, fun, and time to relax. This is a simple, pleasant hotel with a deliberately quiet feel, well away from the entertainment area and close to the mountain. Jurgus was warm and lovely, and even his voice gave us clues about where and when to go. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh linen and towels. For October, it felt like amazing value for money, and the weather in Santorini was at its best.
