Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the warm outdoor jacuzzi was just right for unwinding with a glass of wine. The rooms were spotless and spacious, tastefully furnished, with huge bathrooms, high ceilings, and lovely lighting. The location is very convenient and the views are spectacular. Hospitality was exceptional. Everything was outstanding, highly recommend!

The impact on my family was serious. We booked the larger room for my mother's birthday, but she had trouble breathing because of the chemical fumes and couldn't use it. I was worried about her health and wouldn't let her sleep there. The booking was completely undermined, it caused us great distress, and we felt physically unwell after the first night. After I left a one-star review, they refused a refund because they were upset about it. The man managing the place was horrible and rude. There were several serious problems. Water from the pool directly above our door spilled across the entrance, creating a safety hazard. The pool was also too deep for my mother and sister, who cannot swim, so it was unsafe and unusable for them. On the first day, the jacuzzi had far too many chemicals in it. The fumes burned our eyes, and we couldn't stay in the property while the issue was being dealt with. Doors and windows were left open, and because the window mosquito netting was broken, mosquitoes and lots of other insects got inside. My mother woke to find ants in her bed. When the jacuzzi was refilled, it had black dirt in it and a used cotton bud. Someone tried to clean it with a sponge, which was unsanitary and inappropriate for that facility. Even after it was emptied and refilled again, strong chemical fumes continued. The smell lingered, our eyes still burned, and we couldn't use the jacuzzi. There were security concerns too. On more than one occasion, cleaning staff left the windows wide open while our valuable belongings were inside, leaving them exposed to theft.

Breakfast was delicious every morning, and it was nice having it and the room cleaning included. After a day out exploring, the pool was such a lovely place to cool off. Maria greeted us when we arrived, gave us an island map, and shared restaurant and activity tips for all over Santorini. We were there with another couple, and the rooms were clean. Parking was the only hassle: the street is narrow and spaces are limited, though we did manage to find one each time. That isn't the hotel's fault.

The owner gave us a helpful introduction to the island when we arrived, with suggestions for places to see. We found the house itself a real surprise: the room and bathroom had a cave feel, and our cave had an outdoor jacuzzi with a lovely distant view of the sea and airport. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was very good. It's quiet, spacious, clean, well equipped, and has a good view. I'd definitely recommend it.
