We stayed from April 11 to 18, 2023, with 12 family members, and we’ll most definitely be back. It was absolutely gorgeous, with breathtaking views from a peaceful spot where all we could hear in the morning was birdsong. The villa has three separate floors, each with its own kitchen, dining room, and bathroom. The rooms are massive, each with a private balcony, and the layout is thoughtfully done. Great for families or friends. Outside, there’s a huge pool, a kids’ play area, and a large dining and barbecue space. You do need a car, but two little villages with lovely tavernas and bakeries are about a five-minute drive away, and Lidl is around 10 minutes away for a big shop. The coastal town of Rethymno is about 15 minutes by car, with a lovely port, quaint streets, good shopping, and lots of great restaurants and bars. We’ve stayed in many villas around Europe as a family, and this is by far the best so far. Nicos, the owner, came by every day to see if we needed anything. Manos, the manager, greeted us kindly and left us a food parcel with everything we needed. He was always available for questions and advice. Villa Laga had everything we needed for an absolutely perfect week.

We’ve just come back from a week at this villa with our family, and what a week it was. The accommodation, facilities, and service were excellent, and everyone was so friendly. I can’t fault it. It made our family get-together a real pleasure and let us properly relax.

A peaceful, spacious place with good equipment. If getting away from people and unwinding is what you want, this is a good spot.

We stayed as six and were really pleased with the house. It’s well furnished, and there’s plenty of room around the pool. The outdoor BBQ setup was a highlight for grilling. The mountain setting has a gorgeous, open view across the sea and olive groves. The bathrooms could use a more modern look, though.
