Meltemi Coast Suites

The balconies look out over Rethymno, and the host is really friendly and willing to help. It’s a great, very central hotel, with an elevator and a gym on the second floor, though the gym isn’t part of the hotel. Every room has its own AC, and there’s a kitchen too. We had a great stay!

We stayed in the suite and loved the view over the streets below, the beach, and the harbor. It’s a good size for two, with a great shower and toilet. The cleaning staff seem to wait until the room is empty, so we barely noticed them, including when they cleaned while we were out on a quick market run. The apartment is very well insulated, as are the glass doors, so the road outside wasn’t an issue. The only small downside was occasional noise from the gym upstairs, sometimes people on the treadmill or powerlifting. Thanks, Meltemi, for a lovely summer!

The balcony gets sun all day and is amazing, and the suite looked just like the pictures. Inside, there’s loads of space, a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, a roomy bedroom, and a comfortable, luxurious living area. It’s only a minute from the beach and nearest supermarket, and about a 10/15-minute walk to the beautiful old town. Everything was very clean, and the little touches made the place feel warm and relaxing. We had a wonderful holiday at Meltemi Suites. Till next time 🙏

Emmanouela was lovely, pleasant, and quick to respond whenever I had a question or request. Apartments are cleaned every day, with towels replaced once every 3 days. The furnishings and facilities are modern and nice, and my apartment had two AC units for when it needed cooling. The small kitchen was well equipped, even with a “dzezva” pot so I could make coffee myself. Restaurants, rental and tour companies, a supermarket, and a bus stop are all nearby. It’s a 15-20 minute walk into central Rethymno. There are books and beach gear in the hallway for anyone to use. There are a few small flaws, but with everything else as it is, they’re not worth mentioning. I RECOMMEND it.
