Hotel Papagalos

I’m already looking forward to coming back next year. The staff treated me so well and made me feel welcome, and the bed was great. The room was comfortable, with an outside shutter that made it completely dark, so I slept like a baby. There wasn’t any coffee or tea in the room, and breakfast was pricey each morning, so we couldn’t eat there as often as we wanted.

We felt welcome at this lovely family-run place, and Andrea and Katarina were especially kind and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and just as described, with a stunning view. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel café was stylish and cozy, with a great view too. The location is very central, and free parking is just a one to two minute walk away. We’d definitely stay here again if we come back. 💯

We stopped at the hotel cafe for breakfast. The food was average, and they forgot our coffee. After we reminded them, it arrived in a glass with a spoon, which looked odd, especially since there were plenty of regular latte cups and saucers there. I even wondered if a waiter had brought in their own coffee and handed it to me. There were no napkins on the table, and I had to find someone at the bar to pay the bill. I can't speak to the accommodation, but I wouldn't recommend eating at this cafe.

The hotel has a stylish, colorful, cute look, just like its logo, and they’ve been in business for 20 years. Parking is plentiful at the port, less than a minute’s walk away, and the hotel itself is right on the main street. Breakfast, brunch and drinks were tasty, the rooms were clean and newly furnished, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We’d heard the city can sometimes have water pressure problems, but in our room the pressure was weak only for hot water. Our friends were in the room below us. We mentioned it to the staff, and they fixed it right away. Definitely recommend!
