Irene was wonderful throughout. She shared useful information before we arrived, picked us up from the bus station, and was always available and glad to help. Since we visited in October, off season, she kindly let us check out late. The unit is basic but has what you need, including a comfortable sofa, a small table with two chairs, and a handy kitchenette. Its porch has an amazing view of the bay and mountains, and we spent hours sitting there in the peaceful surroundings. Porto Koufo feels like heaven, and the place is just above the small village, an easy walk or drive away. Highly recommended.

From its slightly higher position, this place gets a gentle breeze that really matters in summer, plus lovely views and the variety needed for a great holiday. The hotels right on the beach may look like the obvious choice, but I wouldn’t say they’re better. Everything is spotless, with careful attention to detail and fresh greenery all around. What stood out most was how friendly and personal everyone was. It’s a great base for exploring the area, and a great holiday here feels almost guaranteed.

We’ve visited lots of places in Greece, but nowhere else has made us feel so impressed and comfortable. We liked it enough to extend our stay for a second week, and we’ll definitely return soon. We stayed first in the Amaryllis apartment, then a bungalow, and both were amazing. Irene and Costas made it one of our best holidays.

We went in the second and third weeks of June this year, hoping for a proper rest and an easygoing break, and found a lovely hideaway. The whole family made us feel welcome and looked after. With a little notice, they happily prepared a special dinner for our group of seven. The food was divine, and the simple setting was just right. If you don’t have small children, I’d suggest visiting before June 15 or from September, since the place caters to families during peak season. It’s an unspoilt spot with wonderful hospitality. There’s nowhere quite like it, and we’re looking forward to returning.
