Hotel Kekrifalia

We spent a week at the hotel in early September and want to thank our hosts so much. Lea was kind and a real cocktail master, and Alexandra, our waitress, was incredibly caring. She's a gem. We're looking forward to coming back 🙏

I swam every day from the hotel's private beach, or really a private lounge area, and saw lots of fish and the occasional turtle. The water's so blue you can jump right in. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely rooms, location, and hospitality. Food and drinks were excellent, and the namesake salad was a knockout. We watched the sunset from the restaurant, which looks back over the port. It was perfect for our five-night stay. I'm reluctant to share this gem, but we'll definitely be back.

We only visited the restaurant, not the hotel. The setting was amazing, especially at dinner, with tables near the beach. The food was a bit overpriced, though that's pretty classic for Greek restaurants. The woman who served us was great, but later a man told us we normally couldn't eat at those tables because they were for drinks. We found that a bit rude, since we'd said we might eat before sitting down. I think the service should be more polite. Tourists don't like being treated that way. The woman who let us sit saved the experience, otherwise service would have been one star instead of three :)

We came across the bar and restaurant while out walking. We hadn't stayed at the hotel, but stopped for an early evening drink and ended up staying for dinner. The ambience, view, and service were stunning. The food was fresh, authentic Greek cooking, with pasta, meat, and fish dishes too. Looking out over the ocean was outstanding. A magic place.
