Pension Irene

The owners and cleaning staff were so friendly and welcoming, and there was always hot water. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette and a lovely private terrace. The location was perfect, just 2 mins walk from the beach, right across from the supermarket and near lots of restaurants. All in all, an amazing stay!

We ended up in Sougia without anywhere to stay, and were lucky to find this wonderful place by the beach. The owner and staff were lovely, with good vibes all around. The owner also runs the restaurant across the street, and the food there was delicious. Thanks again for a wonderful stay in Sougia. Hope we make it back one day.

We arrived at 21.30 in the evening looking for a room, and the very kind owner had one free for us. He said we could take our time during the stay. Check out was around 11. 30, but there was no rush to leave, and we were able to leave our luggage at reception all day since our bus wasn't until the evening. The rooms were comfortable. Just be careful not to leave the windows open, as lots of mosquitoes come inside.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have excellent facilities, though our shower felt a bit tight. We’re small, so it was fine. The beach and everything else are close by. We’ve been coming back to Sougia every year for as long as we can remember, and Stavroula & Lefteris make us feel like family. We just love Pension Irene and its welcoming hosts.
