It’s in a peaceful area, only a few minutes’ walk from the beach, supermarket, and restaurants. We had a cozy ground-floor apartment with a small balcony, and it was cleaned every day. The owner answered our questions and helped when we needed it. Inside, the apartment had a well-functioning air conditioner, a good shower, TV, hair dryer, and even a Moka espresso pot. There’s a huge parking area right in front of the balcony.

Though it wasn’t very large, the apartment had all the space we needed and stayed clean. We really enjoyed the outdoor table, which was shaded for lunch and dinner and got morning sun. There was convenient parking inside the property and useful services. Great location, and it worked very well for our family. We had a really good stay!

Stegna itself is lovely, but a few things are good to know. If you’re self-catering, you’ll need to go to Archangelos for fresh meat, and there’s no bus. Don’t rent a car through your travel agent, they’ll charge double. You can pay by card almost everywhere except for sunbeds. Bring some Euros and avoid the ATM. It charged me a 6 Euro handling fee on a 20 Euro withdrawal without warning me before the transaction.

Beautiful and less busy, with plenty to eat and do. Head to Wanted bar restaurant for great food and service, well worth a visit.

The apartment’s roomy, the air conditioning is good, and the beds are comfy. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to a beautiful beach. Highly recommend!
