Dawn Suites Santorini

Traveling solo, I felt so at home here, which meant a lot. The room was gorgeous and clean, with a traditional look and some modern comforts. The bar’s food and drinks were top notch, and the pool was great in the heat. George and the rest of the staff were so accommodating and gave brilliant recommendations. I can’t wait to come back soon. I’ll miss this place a lot! PS. Thanks for everything, George. You’re the best!

Dawn’s food was great and fairly priced. It was also a peaceful spot away from the island crowds, while still just a short drive from the busy areas. The room was clean and nice, and George was great with the service, ready to help with anything you need. I’d recommend it!

I stumbled across this place after the apartment I’d rented turned out to have neither breakfast nor a pool. What a rare find. The pool is lovely, and they even let you use it if you just come in for a drink. Breakfast was excellent, and the service was the best I’ve had anywhere in Santorini. “Urania” (sorry if I’ve got the spelling wrong) is a gem! The area outside THE DAWN was disappointing, though. As soon as you step out, there’s garbage, stray dogs and cats, and poor roads. The people of Vourvoulos don’t seem to care much about their surroundings. If the owner or those responsible for Santorini invested a bit in the area, this could become a very special destination.

We had such a lovely stay and never felt short of anything. Everyone was kind and helpful, and they made us feel like we were among our own people. A big thank you to Giorgos, the manager, for making sure we had everything we needed. We were also honored to meet Manolis, the owner, who is a very creative person. Thank you all so much!
