Villa Ariadni

Great for plane enthusiasts, and close to both the airport and Skiathos town. The rooms are clean and the staff are really nice.

The owner was especially kind and generous, and returned half of our payment after we left Villa Ariadni on the second day. The staff and owner were friendly, and the property felt safe, in a nice spot not far from Skiathos Centrum. But the condition of the rooms was awful. Our sheets had blood on them, the toilets were dirty with visible poop from a previous guest, and there were dead insects everywhere. I was too frustrated and angry at the time to take photos. The toilet and shower were broken, so I called the owner to change rooms. The new one looked much better, but it still wasn’t worth 140 euros a night. In my experience from travelling a lot, it just wasn’t worth the price. The next day I called again and decided to leave. We booked another hotel for almost the same price, and it felt like a real hotel, like paradise. The furniture and fridge were broken, as was just about everything, and the mold smell was overwhelming.

We had planned to spend a few nights at Villa Ariadni in Skiathos. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our holiday took a bad turn and some of our group had to go to hospital in Volos, on the Greek mainland, while our luggage remained at the villa. The next day, the owner kindly sent it by boat to Volos and arranged a taxi from the port to the hospital. Thank you again, Mr!

We had a great stay. The rooms were clean, the view was lovely, and despite being near the airport there was no noise pollution. Prices seemed normal compared with other rooms on the island. The staff were polite, great, and always ready to help. WiFi was okay, though my friends and I sometimes struggled to browse. The kitchen is basic but has dishes and glasses.
