Los Pasos Boutique Hotel & Spa

This was easily our best hotel during the week we spent in Guatemala. At check-in, the gentleman offered us an upgrade because someone had cancelled, and let us choose between the original room and the upgraded one. The beds were very comfortable, the shower had hot water, and breakfast was delicious. Service was quick despite some of the postings. We ate on the sunny rooftop and enjoyed the views. We'd definitely stay again!

The hotel has a peaceful feel, with lovely colonial decor and spacious, clean rooms that have thoughtful traditional touches. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are well maintained, and the water pressure is great. The terraces have lovely views, especially at sunrise or sunset. Staff were warm, attentive, and happy to help with recommendations or transportation. It was convenient to have the on-site restaurant after a long day exploring Antigua, and the food was delicious. A cozy, elegant, relaxing stay. Definitely recommend.

The staff made this visit especially memorable. Everyone we met was warm and attentive, and they kindly kept our luggage when we arrived early, then brought it to our room once it was ready. They also helped with parking and even fetched jackets from our car the next morning when we realized we needed them. The grounds were lush, carefully designed, and beautifully maintained, giving the property a peaceful, welcoming feel. Our room was comfortable and well appointed, a relaxing place to return to after exploring Antigua. The on-site restaurant served consistently delicious meals, and the bar drinks were excellent, each one felt like a treat. Hotel Boutique Los Pasos exceeded our expectations in every way. We'd gladly stay again and highly recommend Hotel Boutique Los Pasos to anyone visiting Antigua.

Breakfast up on the terrace was a highlight, especially with Volcán de Fuego erupting in the distance. The food was excellent, and the hotel’s views from both the main rooftop and the tucked-away third-floor spot are among the best in Antigua. Los Pasos felt nothing like the more corporate place I stayed at first. It became my favorite in the city. The staff, especially Kevin and the front desk team, were warm and attentive. Rooms in both sections had their own appeal: the original wing has Spanish colonial charm, colorful touches, comfortable beds, and fireplaces in some rooms, while the newer wing is roomier and more modern without losing the property’s character. Both were cozy. I can’t wait to come back.
