It’s okay for the price, and the service was okay too. There’s no elevator, which is a real hassle when you have 30kg of luggage to carry up or down. Only the front desk understands English.

The people were super nice, but this wasn’t my luck. The rooms smelled moldy, and the bathroom had someone else’s poop in it. The bed was filthy, the curtains were moldy, and even the Bible wasn’t clean. I asked the receptionist for another room, but that one was worse, with mold in every corner and poop on the walls. The bathroom was dirty too.

For Guatemala, this is a pretty nice place. If you’re expecting an American hotel, you may not think it’s great. Too many foreigners leave bad reviews because they expect a different style.

The hotel looks like it may be getting upgraded, but the roaches are awful and make it really uncomfortable. Who wants to come back from vacation with roaches? Baby roaches are the worst. We switched rooms on the night we arrived because the bathroom smelled horrible, and the new room had roaches too. Refund please. Travelers from Atlanta GA

My room was dirty when I arrived. I complained several times, but no one did anything to fix it, and getting a refund has been a nightmare. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and management was completely unprofessional and unresponsive. It felt like they didn’t care about their guests at all. Terrible experience. There are better options nearby, so avoid this place.
