Tumon Bay Capital Hotel

The room had decent space, and the bathroom was okay, but it’s not a place for anyone expecting anything fancy. I left the balcony door open by mistake, and a lizard got into my drink. I only noticed when I started drinking it again 🤮🤮. The receptionist was kind enough to come remove it herself. See the photos and videos for more.

It looks dated, but the room was still pretty cozy for what it is.

The rooms were clean and neat, and the area in front of the building was clean too. The furniture could use an upgrade, but it was still being used. The building has a nice location and some nice decor, though the lighting in the lobby and at the front desk was dim. More light would show off the decor better, and the whole place needs an upgrade. Only one elevator was working, while the other had an out-of-order sign. The walk through the building felt warm and smelled a little. The view out the back window was dirty, and the surface looked like it would be slippery to walk on. Even with those issues, it’s still suitable for a stay.

I only stayed a few hours while in transit. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and helped me call a taxi. One staff member even offered to drive me to Guam Premier Outlets, but she was on shift and couldn’t. The hotel was okay, though the building is old and needs major renovation. I hope they do some work on it, but that could push prices up from the current under-$100 rate.
