King's Hotel & Residences

The crew were friendly, and I appreciated the daily water and room cleaning. The rooms looked modern, though ours had an odour. We checked in late and nobody helped carry our two suitcases up three flights of stairs. I nearly checked out over that, which is why I gave three stars.

Manuel, the Cuban guardian angel, looked out for us during our trip abroad. His warmth and real concern for our well-being went beyond what was expected. When things felt uncertain, his reassuring presence and kind smile helped turn those moments into memories we'll carry with us.

My family and I came to Guyana on a business trip. On our second day in the city, we were held at knifepoint and were ready to leave the country. Then Manuel the Cuban stepped in, offered to look after us, and arranged a full experience of services. He kept us safe for the rest of our business stay, and we're very grateful. Manuel deserves recognition as an outstanding person and an important part of this hotel's experience. Thank you, Manuel.

The rooms are modern, the beds comfortable, and the two dorm suite layout works well for families or business partners. It's a great place to stay for business in Georgetown Guyana. One issue: the Bistro on the first floor can stay noisy late on weekdays, and you can hear quite a lot of it in the rooms.
