Most of the staff were welcoming, gracious and helpful. We had a spacious executive suite, and the Concierge floor was a nice addition for coffee, drinks and a snack one evening. Breakfast at MOMO had lots of kinds of food and was well prepared. Then, after a day out touring, we came back to a note asking us to call management about makeup stains on several towels. The manager wanted to charge us 700 Hong Dollars for a few cheap towels. We have one day left, and now I'm nervous to wash sunscreen off my face in the hotel. We've traveled loyally for years and been happy with Marriott/Bonvoy, but this was the most absurd and outrageous situation.

The executive lounge felt like wasted space. It was unstaffed, with a poor selection and almost nothing there. I left my coffee cup at about 9am and it was still on the table around 2pm. The only bin was behind the staff work table, where there were already other guests' banana skins because there wasn't anywhere else to put them. As a Titanium Member, I didn't feel my loyalty was recognized. Bottled water wasn't provided because of government restrictions, though it was for sale, so I went to 7/11. At branded hotels in other countries, like Courtyard in the UK and JP, I've received it free with my status. The free dry-cleaning benefit was listed as one piece, but when I asked after my T-shirt was stained, I got the funny answer that they don't offer it here and instead provide two pieces of ironing. Why would I want that? I can do it in my room if needed. One of the most disappointing Courtyard Marriott's in Asia for me.

After a long trip from Australia, it was a lovely welcome. The whole team was friendly and efficient, and Holly especially went above and beyond to help my family and me get around Hong Kong. Our stay started off so nicely.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I really appreciated being allowed a later checkout. It was my first stay in the Sai Ying Pun area, and I had a great experience at Courtyard by Marriott. The service was amazing.

Buses, trams and the MTR station are close by, and Mo Mo's serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Courtyard is well placed by De Veaux Road in Sai Ying Pun on Hong Kong Island. Staff are friendly and very helpful, especially at Front Of House and the Executive Lounge. This is our usual choice when we visit Hong Kong.
