Dash Living on Queen’s

They handled my request quickly and with real care. The customer service was prompt, professional, and kind throughout, and that left a strong impression. I'd consider staying again and would recommend it.

We spent four nights at Dash over NYE, booking only a few weeks ahead because there weren't many options left. The location in the middle of Sheung Wan was excellent, and the price was competitive for a late booking. The room was small, the walls were thin, and housekeeping was poor, with no changing of bins or beds. Although the rooms look modern, they feel dated. It was passable as a budget option for a short stay, but we wouldn't return or recommend it, especially with so many other choices around.

The bathrooms were disgusting and the service wasn't much help. The rooms are far smaller than advertised, with a Japanese-style mattress on the floor in a room joined to the shower. Even getting a towel when requested was a problem. Avoid this place.

I booked Dash Queen's Road at the last minute on September 1 for September 1-3, then realized I'd accidentally reserved only September 2-3. At check-in, staff said the hotel was quite full, although I had found a room online. I asked to keep the same room and was told I couldn't. After asking more questions, I learned downgrading my room type would let me avoid checking out and checking in again. Staff confirmed I couldn't upgrade afterward, and I accepted. I left for work at 5AM on September 2 with a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. When I returned around 6 PM, all my belongings were gone. There was no phone in the room, and reception staff had left, so I had to contact the hotel online while only security was there. Someone eventually came back, and we searched the trash and storage before finding my things in a white garbage bag in another room on another floor. Staff said the manager would follow up, but two days later I still hadn't heard anything. Housekeeping or staff entering despite the DND sign is a serious safety concern. It was a very unpleasant, disappointing stay, and I don't recommend Dash Queen's Road.
