Wai Leung was especially helpful, going out of his way and personally making sure we had the transportation we needed. I can depend on him to arrange it. From check-in to departure, the service was excellent. Check-in staff worked to meet our need for a walk-in shower, housekeeping was pleasant and attentive to our requests, and the concierge helped a lot with arranging transport.

The good points were the location, gym, good shower, and Nespresso. For the price I paid, though, the stay wasn't worth it, so my rating is 3. Check-in was slow at midnight, with only one person working and almost no information about facilities or breakfast. I was given an “upgrade,” but I'd booked a room facing “the bay” and got one with an extra sofa that faced the buildings instead. Breakfast was very average, with low-quality food, often crowded, and a slow coffee machine. There wasn't room for everyone, so people you didn't know had to share tables. The welcome drink was the worst I've had. As an Accor Diamond member who's stayed in hotels around the world, I only got soft drinks, coffee, and water. I think I got food poisoning after eating Parma ham, salami, or pizza at the bar, and spent the night in the toilet. The wine and food were low quality, though one waiter was very kind. The app called the room “modern,” but it was old, and the carpet and sofa weren't clean, with lots of dust. There were no bathroom amenities, just two towels for three of us, so I had to ask for more. The location was good, near some places and an MTR station.

Although it was my first time staying at Novotel Century Hong Kong, I've been to Hong Kong almost every year and will definitely return here. We had a wonderful five-night stay and highly recommend it. The staff from reception to housekeeping were warm and welcoming, and we felt at home. We were upgraded to a room with a partial harbour view and appreciated the two-hour late checkout. Special thanks to Gary at the front desk, who quickly helped me download and print a train ticket PDF for our upcoming trip when I couldn't work it out myself.

The lounge is the part that really makes this hotel. If your Accor status doesn't get you access, I think it's absolutely worth paying for. The breakfast was very good too, with a broad choice of western and eastern food. The location is fantastic, and the rooms are very comfortable and functional. I especially want to thank Erika and Kate, who helped in every way in the lounge, and above all Tiffany, the assistant guest relations manager. Tiffany helped us both in the lounge and with many other things around the hotel. We're very grateful to her. All three made the stay much better than we'd imagined, and Tiffany turned us into loyal guests. I absolutely recommend this hotel.
