Finding the entrance is part of the Hong Kong experience: it’s in a tall building, on the 9th floor of Block E, and can take a moment to locate. The room and bathroom are basic, but they do the job if you want affordable accommodation right in the heart of the city.

The property is in Chungking Mansion. We were moved to a different room from the one we had booked, and the owner was unpleasant to deal with. A woman who appeared to represent the owner kept negotiating with them for a higher rate. If your budget allows, I’d book somewhere else.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the security made me feel safe. My room was small but very clean, though there’s still plenty that could be improved. The location is close to K11, the art museum, and other places. I had no complaints, and the stay suited me well.

The rooms are about what you’d expect at this price. I really appreciated how much the staff helped me, and the service and location were both excellent.

The owner and staff were really helpful, and the price was reasonable for such a good location. I’d visit again in the future.
