Wharney Hotel

We spent 5 nights here, and it worked well as a budget-friendly place. The room was fine and clean, breakfast was decent, and there was enough vegetarian food for me. Staff made the bed, supplied water, and changed the towels each day. It's near public transport and tourist spots, with lots of pubs and restaurants close by. I didn't have anything to complain about. It wasn't as bad as the other reviews made it sound, promise!

The reception staff were friendly and efficient, and I liked the display of local gastronomic products near the entrance. My room felt fairly new and was kept in good condition. It was small but comfortable, clean, and tidy, with a choice of pillows, decent WiFi, and a compact but functional bathroom. I slept well and quietly. Breakfast had a good range of food, but everything I tried had gone cold. It also took a while to get a coffee, which wasn't great. They should keep the cooked food warm and improve the coffee provider. It'd help if guests were offered coffee when they arrive instead of having to look for it and wait.

The people were very friendly, and the hotel was a nice place to stay at a reasonable price in a vibrant area. The rooms were very nice, with spacious options for three people, though the bathroom was a little small. Unfortunately, the pool was closed and the gym was quite small.

We had a wonderful family stay at Wharney Hotel. Christmas hadn't arrived yet, but the lobby already had beautiful decorations, including a big tree and twinkling lights that put everyone in a festive mood. It was perfect for photos. The Wan Chai location is excellent, with food and shopping just steps away, which made things easy with kids and elderly family members. The staff were warm and friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend it for a family trip to Hong Kong.
