The room was smaller than I expected, so large luggage could make it feel tight. Still, it was clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. For the price, I thought it was good value compared with a city stay. My partner and I had a peaceful holiday at Concerto Inn. It’s right by the beach, with a relaxing view, especially in the morning and evening. You can hear the sea, enjoy the scenery, and take a break from the busy city. It feels romantic because it’s so calm and uncrowded. I’d stay again for the quiet holiday atmosphere and beach view.

The rest of the staff were lovely, but this was such a bizarre and shocking situation that we checked out early. We ordered mocktails, and the waitress Candy even repeated “mocktail” before taking the order. We were served alcoholic cocktails instead. I don’t drink, and I didn’t realise until I’d had a quarter and started feeling bad. When we told the waitress, she laughed and charged us the cocktail price. After we complained, she offered 10% off that price and said I was on holiday, so I should drink it slowly.

We stopped in for a drink and an early meal on a fairly quiet Saturday afternoon, staying through sunset. The location was great, and it turned out to be a lovely hidden gem worth checking out and spending some time in.

I didn’t stay overnight, just ate at the restaurant. The drinks were good, but the pizzas tasted more like frozen snacks. Meals for our group arrived 30 minutes apart, and we’d finished eating long before the last one came. Service was hopelessly slow, so I can’t recommend it. It seems to survive because there isn’t much competition.

The beach was beautiful, the staff were super friendly, and there were lovely walks nearby. I had a wonderful retreat for writing and enjoying the beach. Food costs a bit more than in town, but otherwise it was all great.
