All the staff were lovely, and the room was large and clean. The fridge in the room was free to use, which came in handy, and it was great that we couldn’t hear other rooms or doors. Breakfast had a decent selection and the location was good. The lighting could be better, especially for doing makeup and hair. The bed felt quite hard if you’re used to European or English standards. They didn’t have English breakfast tea or milk in the room, just funny-tasting Earl Grey and Coffee-mate powder.

I’d say this is probably the best Holiday Inn Express I’ve stayed at. The room was comfortable and, by Hong Kong standards, a pretty reasonable size, though it’s a standard room. The bed was comfy, but we’d have preferred it a little softer. The air conditioning cooled well but was very loud, so we turned it off before bed and slept more comfortably and quietly. The bathroom was very good, and I liked the one-door design, though the shower cubicle is a little see-through. The entrance lobby is on the ground floor (Taiwan's first floor) with large glass doors. You take an escalator up to the first floor (Taiwan's second floor) for reception. After checking in, you need to tap your room key in the lift to access your floor, which felt secure. Breakfast is served in the Pizza Express restaurant on the same floor as reception. It’s convenient to reach from the airport on bus A29 from Hong Kong International Airport. The ride takes around 40-50 minutes and costs HKD44 each way, then it’s a five-minute walk to the hotel. The business-office area has lots of nearby restaurants, and APM shopping centre is also five minutes away. Kwun Tong Kwun Tong MTR station is beside APM. There’s a self-service washer and dryer on the 7th floor. Each machine needs its own token, and I think you buy them at reception on the 1st floor. Tokens cost 60 HKD each. That isn’t cheap, but the machines looked good.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Hong Kong with my school trip from 22-29 September 2025. It took me a while to write this, but it was one of the best hotel stays and room-service experiences I’ve had. Bobo Cui was especially lovely, warm, and kind. She changed our bedsheets every day without us asking, and I really appreciated it. I was happy to see her each day, haha. She kept everything tidy, clean, and neatly restocked with fresh things. Her cheerful personality made us feel more comfortable and welcome. Her dedication really made a difference. Thank you to all the staff, including the gentleman working security at the entrance. During the typhoon, everyone helped us feel safe and reassured. The location was convenient too, with convenience stores, the MTR station, and a shopping mall all within walking distance. Thanks for a memorable and wonderful stay! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We were staying on the 11th floor, where Sister Juan was in charge of cleaning. Her service attitude was very good, and she was polite, respectful of what guests wanted, and flexible and easy to work with. We came back to the hotel earlier than expected, so she cleaned our room first to avoid disturbing our rest. It was very pleasant communicating with her. She absolutely deserves praise.
