The staff were friendly and the location was great, but the cleanliness was horrible. The floor was super dirty, the pillow and blanket smelled terrible, and the toilet was moldy. I regret booking this place.

There were insects in the dirty room, and finding the hostel was very difficult. Its elevator is inside a building, but the hostel isn't marked on the first floor and there are no signs saying hostels are located there. I don't recommend this place.

The place was so bad that I left and immediately booked a nearby hotel for 570,000 won. I had clearly reserved a twin room with two beds through Agoda, but was given a bunk bed instead. There’s no front desk, and you can’t even find the hotel’s name on the ground floor or among the floor listings by the elevator. They’ve split up a unit in Chungking Mansions into a few rooms and are calling it a hotel. I was completely misled. It felt worse than a cheap inn from the 50s or 60s, and I wouldn’t call it a hotel or a motel at all. Don’t come expecting a low price and a decent Korean motel. Please book somewhere else, and don’t end up arguing with your travel companion in this heat like I did.
